The 2nd Shift Material Handler is responsible for supporting production and fulfillment by loading and unloading material within the production facility and the fulfillment center.
PFI InStore provides a wide range of custom in-store merchandising materials to national retailers, CPG brands, and point-of-purchase creative design agencies. From concept design to manufacturing, we focus on supporting retailers in showcasing and promoting products in all aspects of the store.
Responsibilities
- Loads & unloads supplies and packages from various locations, delivery trucks, & loading docks
- Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment for bulk loading & material moving
- Supports production and fulfillment of PFI InStore orders
- Relieves machine operators for breaks
- Operates Sage software to manage time & expenses
- Accounts for the transportation of goods
- Keeps specific counts of items that have been moved
- Operates scan guns to accurately track inventory
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ of experience in material handling
- MRP experience a plus
- Barcoding experience a plus
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to exercise Interdependent judgment
- Possesses a certain degree of creativity & latitude
- Ability to operate several types of forklifts, including:
- Propane sit-down
- Stand-up electric reach
- Ability to work overtime & some weekends
- Ability to be on & off feet throughout the entire shift
