The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing management reporting on several key areas of the company. The role will update and create inventory reporting used to develop plans to improve overall inventory performance


PFI InStore provides a wide range of custom in-store merchandising materials to national retailers, CPG brands, and point-of-purchase creative design agencies. From concept design to manufacturing, we focus on supporting retailers in showcasing and promoting products in all aspects of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares weekly inventory availability reports for supply chain and sales
  • Runs monthly inventory analysis to understand effectiveness of inventory reduction initiatives
  • Supports overstock sales initiatives by providing visibility into availability of custom products
  • Prepares monthly sales & margin reporting
  • Provides market analysis for development of sales initiatives
  • Maintains product database to provide deeper insight into inventory and product sales
  • Recommends phase-out of products using historical data & statistical analysis
  • Provides basic updates of catalog & customer price lists
  • Provides general updates to pricing modules throughout the year
  • Provides sales team with discrete SKU pricing
  • Pricing validation on new item creation & daily sales
  • Assists with custom pricing as needed
  • Assists in managing product strategy
  • Supports the finance department as needed
  • Manages inventory levels of standard products
  • Works with cross-functional teams to reduce inventory associated with custom, slow & non-moving products
  • Supports pricing teams to ensure quick & accurate pricing is provided to customers

  • Management of inventory investment

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1+ Years of experience in Accounting field

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques
  • Working knowledge of general account procedures
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
  • Strong analytical & critical thinking skills
  • Strong personal initiative
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent computer skills,
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
